Then the participants split into three groups. Each group is given a bunch of post-its. In each group, one person stands up with their back to the rest of the group. The task for the group is to write identity markers on the post-its that they believe apply to the person standing up and to attach the post-its to their back (so that the person can\u2019t see them). Then the next person stands up and post-its with identity markers are attached to their back. This goes on until all the group members have had a turn.
