A group is a collection of individuals and it is uncommon for all of them to think and feel the same way. People may very well perceive some methods as frivolous, childish or inappropriate and may refuse to participate or offer resistance on account of this perception. It is up to the team of trainers to explain why the method was selected and to seek or earn the trust of the group. Questioning methods is reasonable when they have not been explained properly, but care should be taken not to allow the choice of method to become the sole focus of discussion, rendering its purpose unclear, except in the case of a training for trainers.
