One – Two – Three

Step 1. Participants pair up. In their pairs they count together: they take turns to count to three and then they start again from one. (A: “One”, B: “Two”, A: “Three”, B: “One”, A: “Two”…) This lasts about one minute. Step 2. Each pair agrees on a gesture that they will use. They continue to count but instead of pronouncing the number 2 they have to make the gesture they have agreed on (approximately one minute). Step3. Each pair should agree on a sound to use. It can be onomatopoeia or an exclamation or whatever the pair chooses. Then they count again: instead of pronouncing the number 2 they should make their gesture and instead of pronouncing the number 3 they should use the sound. Step4. Then instead of saying the number 2 they make the agreed-upon gesture and instead of saying the number 3 they make the agreed-upon exclamation and instead of pronouncing the number 1, the agreed-upon gesture and sound at the same time.
